The Art of Recycling

Recycling: How creative can you be?

Recycling: How creative can you be?

Recycling is about taking certain precautions on products to enable them to be reused. Altering or adapting products for ‘new use.’ Helping the environment through different methods. This being from saving energy in your home to recycling rubbish.

What is my point? Recycling is not only about the environment. It is ART. People are exprerssing their creativity by re-creating their own products through recycling.

The people of Birmingham may remember the famous ‘Coca Cola Can Bull‘ outside Bullring, City Centre. The original bronze bull was accompanied by a recycable art drink cans bull, making recycling art.

Art makes recycling more interesting. Giving people a chance to have fun whilst recycling.

Recycle Expert help people who are or are looking to recycle and reuse. They cover many areas on the art of recycling.

MY TOP TIPS

1. Think about what you want to create. Try and visualise it.

2. Find recycled and reusable products.

3. Make sure they have been thoroughly CLEANED.

4. Start messing around with ideas until you get what you want.

WHOLLA… there you have it. Your own masterpiece.

  1. As an artist i completely agree, it doesn’t matter what materials you use, as long as you show creativity.

  2. Thank you. I just feel that art should be something that is your own. From a person, personally.

When combined with the environment it can lead to greater measures.

As an artist yourself do you have any tips for people who have done recycling art or intend to?
